Coming Clean at Wat Tham Krabok
While some people do a detox to boost their health by relaxing at a tranquil spa, many use detox programs to kick substance abuse.
Wat Tham Krabok in Northern Thailand has been doing this for almost 50 years. Through a combination of Buddhist meditation, an herbal detox potion and vomiting, the Wat has treated addicts from not just all over Thailand but all over the globe.
