Expanding waist lines, expanding health costs

America used to be the home of the obese, now it’s all of us!  According to this article obesity now affects most of us world-wide.

And surprise, surprise so do the costs, both financial and health wise, associated with our extra pounds. High blood pressure, increased risks of heart attacks and strokes, diabetes and many cancers cost lives as well as a skyrocketing increase in health care budgets.  Even our kids are being hit with the numbers of obesity related admissions to hospital tripling in the US between 1998 and 2004.

Its time to do something about it.  Many authorities are calling for a similar approach to the campaign against smoking but shouldnt getting healthy be fun also?  Check out this article at The LifeCo for a common sense wholistic approach to shedding the pounds and keeping them off
