Tales from the Expat Harem, a brilliant anthology of short stories about foreign women’s experiences living and travelling in Turkey, has inspired a cocktail! If you’ve read the book, you can imagine that the eponymous cocktail is spicy yet sweet, sparkling and fresh. Saf Martini Bar’s expert mixologist Joe McCanta has created a martini that won’t disappoint: vodka, cucumber, Saf’s house-made ginger beer and fresh green apple juice. The perfect drink to quench your thirst on a warm Istanbul night!
